The Rey Chair is one of the most iconic pieces of Swiss industrial design. Named after its famed designer Bruno Rey, and produced in 1971, it is the first chair patented by Dietiker featuring a wood-metal assembly without screws. The Rey chair has been used particularly in the design of cafeterias and restaurants.
Bruno Rey is a Swiss designer and architect born in 1935 in Brugg. During his career he has developed numerous seating systems in collaboration with Charles Polin and the Dietiker company.
