The light can be modulated through three intensity settings. The object is in overall beautiful vintage condition with minor signs of age and a slightly loose adjustment mechanism.
Mario Barbaglia and Marco Colombo are two prominent figures in the history of Italian design. In 1975 they founded their associated studio, which remained in business until 1999. Together, they worked in the field of light design, in close collaboration with Italiana Luce.
