Soley is a compact folding chair designed by Valdimar Harðarson and inspired by Iceland’s landscapes. The form synthesize two opposite natural elements: the circular sun and the semi-circular moon, which inspired the forms of the seat and backrest of the chair.

Valdimar Harðarson was born in Reykjavik in 1951. Designer and architect, he also worked on the urban design of his hometown. His collaboration with Kusch+Co includes 2750 Soley a poetic furniture set consisting of dining chairs and a table.
