The Atollo table lamp was designed by Italian master Vico Magistretti and produced by Oluce in the 1970s. This object is much more than a simple furnishing accessory – it is a sculpture composed of pure geometric volumes and light. Atollo is a pure expression typical for Italian mid-century design, which aims at the conscious use of materials and finishes in a poetic sense.
This extra large, early version of Atollo is produced from white varnished metal and in excellent condition. Available for hire only.
Born in Milan in 1920, Magistretti worked mainly in the furniture design field, simultaneously designing exhibition spaces and architecture. During his career, he has established ongoing collaborations with companies such as Oluce, De Padova and Poggi, for whom he designed the Golem chair.
