This stunning set of wooden Carlo Scarpa chairs was designed in 1934, and later first produced in 1977 by Italian furniture manufacturer Bernini. The architect Carlo Scarpa designed and realized the chair for his own residence in Venice. Pairing walnut plywood with precise geometric yet organic lines, the 765 showcases Scarpa's close eye for materiality and detailing. The high back makes for an inviting and comfortable seat.
All chairs are in great vintage condition with signs of wear consistent with age.
Set of six chairs available. New black leather upholstery available on request.

This stunning and unique wooden chair combines the organic shapes of its natural material with precise geometric lines into a beautiful and one of a kind piece. The chair dates back to the middle of 20th century and while the artist is unknown, it certainly would have been made by a sculptor. The chair is constructed from several pieces of ancient olive wood, with its original fissures and gaps preserved.
This one of a kind chair is in beautiful vintage condition, exceptionally clean for its age and of very high, sturdy quality.
