The Farmer table is part of a complete furnishing set, created by Gerd Lange for Bofinger. This set included a seat, a table, a bed and a wardrobe, all of which were produced in oak wood modules, easily interlocking with each other.
Two are available, both in great vintage condition, showing beautiful usage marks consistent with age.
Gerd Lange was a furniture and interior designer born in Germany in 1931. His oeuvre spans designs for furniture, exhibitions, prototypes and office systems. In 1974 he notably developed a special technology for Thonet to assemble solid wood and polypropylene, giving him the opportunity to design the iconic “Flex Chair”.
