This black lacquered wooden chair with high quality leather seating was designed by Vico Magistretti for Poggi in 1969. A high, slim, slightly wavy backrest in combination with two flat wood panels that serve as armrests makes the chair incredibly comfortable and sculptural. The chair has a quite surreal appearance, that could be part of a dining scene in a Dalí painting.
One of Magistretti’s most famous designs is the “Maralunga” sofa. For his table lamp “Atollo”, which we offer for rental, he received the design award Compasso d'Oro in 1979. A dozen of his designs belong to the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
The chairs are in perfect condition.
