Kroma is a very rare dining table with postmodern qualities, designed by Antonia Astori in 1984 as part of an architectural system. The round table top is covered in white laminate with a beautiful line-pattern edge, resting on a central vibrant blue metal pedestal. In these two elements, Astori revisits the archetype of the column, creating coloured pedestals using the three primary colours.
This piece is in overall excellent condition with slight damage to the table laminate on the bottom and top. Repaired on request.
Antonia Astori is the co-founder of the iconic furniture brand Driade, founded in 1968 in Milan. Her work is strongly influenced by the history of architecture, aiming to enhance the individual dimension of living spaces.
