Cork, Ø70 cm
Sourced on Request
This extremely rare Zanotl Pendant Lamp was designed by Wilhelm Zanoth and Ingo Maurer in 1974. This striking lamp's geometric shape is constructed from cork sheeting, and the pendant is suspended from a cork base by three robust leather straps, making this a real sculptural object. It is in excellent vintage condition with minimal signs of use.
The lamp was produced by german manufacturer Design M, Ingo Maurer’s own brand founded in Munich-Schwabingen in 1970. The brand has been synonymous with excentric lighting from the second half of last century. For Maurer, lighting and design always have been a field for experimentation and uncompromised expression.
