This iconic desk is part of the Quaderna collection, designed by Superstudio in 1970. The project includes a series of experimental furnishings, composed of archetypical volumes covered with a laminate designed by the same collective for Abet Laminati: a geometric grid consisting of square modules measuring three centimeters each.
The table is in good condition consistent with age. It shows minor scratches and signs of usage on the tabletop. The laminate has a thin crack along one of the side panels.
Superstudio was an architectural collective founded in Florence in the Sixties. As an active part of Radical Design, the projects of this collective questioned the urban planning of those years, proposing design and conceptual alternatives.
