This iconic table is part of the Quaderna collection, designed by Superstudio in 1970. The project includes a series of experimental furnishings, composed of archetypical volumes covered with a laminate designed by the same collective for Abet Laminati: a geometric grid consisting of square modules measuring three centimeters each.
Superstudio was an architectural collective founded in Florence in the 1960s. As an active part of Radical Design, the projects of this collective questioned the urban planning of those years, proposing design and conceptual alternatives.
The table is in a very good condition for its age. It shows nearly no scratches on the tabletop and the laminate is slightly flaked at some points.
